lol - well, that's your taste, but this is my space, and I like those words, I find them sexual and erotic. My language is always very explicit, I know, but I like it that way, it works for me, and they're just words. Some people like sexually explicit language in erotica, some don't, and I don't mind you not being keen, silly, that's just the way you are.

Have to say - I think that the use of the word cunt is a cultural thing too - ComeFlirt - I'd say you are not from the UK? Am I right? The word is pretty common there, and not meant as insultingly as it would be taken in the US...Then again I could just be immune as the word doesn't bother me at all. And when DirtyBoy uses it, I think it's appropriate and sensual. My taste though....

And Vicx - I think you're probably right - in the US (and I don't know if Flirt comes from there or not) the most common word for the vagina (a very unsexual word to me) seems to be 'pussy', but here in the UK a pussy is a small cat lol, so it always sounds silly to me, which is why I don't use it. If I don't use 'vagina' or 'pussy', I either call it what it is (sometimes I substitute 'her cunt' for 'her sex', which works for me too), or start making up silly phrases like 'her soft pool of wetness' or something lol, and i just don't write like that. I first started writing erotica for the girl I call 'Katie' (from the 'photographing Katie' storyline) - like me, she's English, and preferred the erotica I wrote for her to be sexually explicit in its use of language - and the fantasies she writes for me are equally as explicit. Neither of us swear very much in the normal course of the day, so words like 'cunt' and 'fuck' etc (pardon my French!) become sexual in the appropriate context. I appreciate such words can shock though - I do think about that, and try to only use them to arouse - I'm not interested in shocking my readers, obviously, I want to turn them on.

You see, anything like that is strange to me - "I thrust my cock into her love box" just sounds silly to me, and "I fucked her hole" just sounds obscene and horrible, so I wouldn't use that either - and definitely not when talking about Katie, who is a close, dear friend, and doesn't have a "hole", she has a delicious, wonderful, unforgettable cunt. I'm entirely with watchnplay - I would never, ever refer to anyone as 'a cunt' - I just don't use the word outside the sexual context, it's not really in my vocabulary, and it's a horrible insult in that context. It's all about the appropriate context, and I think with most people it's a normal, acceptable word in a passionate, sexual context such as this. It has an element of the forbidden about it - one of the few words that still has that power - and lots of women love to talk dirty (which, of course, is what this blog is all about). Generally I write under the assumption that if people find my language too explicit, they'll quickly escape and go elsewhere - ultimately it's all about what kind of things turn on an individual, and we're all different in that respect.

ComeFlirt - I agree with the fact that if the word was targeted at a person - as in "He's such a c***, or she is such a c***", I'd cringe and leave that person's company. But when it is directed in a sexual context - as in the writings above, I think it is highly arousing and completely appropriate. It's a bit like you're being naughty - you use naughty expressions, don't you? There is something terribly titillating about it. Cunt is a fine ancient English word for a biological reality. I use it deliberately and proudly in my writing because I want to reclaim it.

Cunt acquired warped connotations in puritan times because of the patriarchal equation women/sex=shame/filth. I don't buy that equation, so I don't buy that use of that word for describing ME.
