So, i just recently moved to eastern europe -- a land filled with lovely ladies, but as a computer programmer i'm not the best at meeting new people... and since I'm volunteering here, my wardrobe is less than spectacular. Toss in a language barrier or two, and I'm lonely...

Thought someone here might have a tip or two regarding "How to hook up in Croatia". I know the main tip is usually to 'not try', but that doesn't really help.

I'm only here for 6 months, and 2 have already flashed by...

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but are you m or f? If you are a male, seeking female company, I would suggest taking a table at a nice cafe, and chatting to others near you, maybe ask someone to join you. That is one way that Europeans socialise.

I would sujest smiling to ladies, when possible. It sounds simple, but. . .
