I had the most utterly insane day on Friday. I locked my house keys AND address book in the office, after everyone'd gone home. Usually this wouldn't be a big issue, but my landlords were out of town for the weekend, so they couldn't let me in, AND i couldn't phone anyone because their numbers were in there too. PLUS i don't know where anyone lives, so I couldn't just walk to someone's house. PLUS I don't speak the language and can't read street signs (FYI: I just moved to a new country). I was sure I'd be sleeping on concrete.
Luckily, I have cRaZy luck, and bumped into the only person i do know (in a city of 1 million!), got into the office to get my keys, discovered that God lives in India, got some divx movies, had a free meal, saw a movie, and meet a woman who gives away free Italian Espresso machines.
She then invited me to her apartment later this week for "some of the best Italian espresso". She just moved here too, from Budapest. If You're lucky, I'll have some Euro-Love tales coming at you later in the week...
