Do anyone know who the artist is that painted/sketched beautiful nude scenes of women? I can't remember who he was, I would know if I saw a painting or a sketch. I know that's not alot of information to go on but I want you to read my mind

Here's what I remember about the paintings: erotic poses but artistic, alot of grey paint or background..like i said not a lot of information...any thoughts or links would help me find my mysterious artist. Thanks

..nude art, sketches, kinda of surreal/realism, grey...erotic, sensual but something someone would hang in the living room..ansel adams type of sophiscation, possible black and white photograhy but for some reason I remember paint type of work, popular back in early 90s, I found similar work but I think it was an american artist..don't know if that helps..maybe I'll just go to the art store and find it tomorrow or browse through art books..still any suggestions, most welcome
